Randall has ordered the electric heating elements and the fire suit for the super kiln. The first stage, up and running is close at hand. Once the coils and top are in place a few tests will be conducted to observe the function of the kiln and the glass inside. The rotating wok at the top of the kiln is next to complete before these test can be run. The final element of the super kiln is the most complex. The design must be flawless the travel is over four feet and operates in an environment of over 1700 degrees. This final element is by any assessment "Fancy" and may take a while so until then a mostly functioning kiln will allow fun with glass and development toward design of the final piece.
